A naturally inquisitive species, they gained space flight at a rate faster than any other in the recorded Universe. They have so far managed to resist the Skutian invasions due to their incredibly advanced planetary defence systems that stops the Skutian ships from landing. The few that somehow do get through are mowed down by auto turrets and mechs. Although small in stature, the Vilsae are fiercely intelligent and technologically advanced.
Their homeplanet (Apra) is a temperate planet littered by vast cities brimming with advanced technology and innovative architecture, but also has a flourishing wildlife of exotic animals that are left alone to roam free, sharing the planet in harmony.
Small Aberration: 60 ft Darkvision. +1 size bonus to their AC, a +1 size bonus on attack rolls, a –1 penalty on combat maneuver checks and to their CMD, and a +4 size bonus on Stealth checks.
+8 Intelligence, +4 Wisdom, + 2 Charisma, +4 Dexterity, -2 Strength.
Curiosity: +4 bonus on Diplomacy checks to gather information, and Knowledge (history) and Knowledge (Technology) become class skills for them. If they choose a class that has either of these Knowledge skills as class skills, they gain a +2 racial bonus on those skills instead.
Focused Study: At 1st, 8th, and 16th level, members of this race gain Skill Focus in a skill of their choice as a bonus feat.
